“Light”
I found a light in another dimension
It let me be happy and okay knowing
Their narrative is not mine
There actions are not because of me
I am not in this place as a punishment
It is an opportunity
And as always
I will follow the light
I will follow the path less traveled
I will let them snicker at my demise
As I continue to rise
I never fall too far
Just enough
To be jolted awake
